When the sun came up Wednesday morning, CNN anchor Chris Cuomo was already awake. But as Cuomo tells it, his early rising wasn't by choice.
"I was up all night," he said during Wednesday's edition of "Cuomo Prime Time," broadcast live from his basement where he is now self-quarantining after announcing one day earlier that he tested positive for the novel coronavirus.
The cause of Cuomo's insomnia?
"This virus came at me, I've never seen anything like it," Cuomo said, telling viewers that he was racked with a fever of around 103 degrees "that wouldn't quit."
"It was like somebody was beating me like a piñata," he continued. "I was shivering so much . . . I chipped my tooth."
Then, there were the fever-induced hallucinations.
"My dad was talking to me," a wide-eyed Cuomo said, referring to his late father, former New York governor and revered Democratic Party figure Mario Cuomo, who died in January 2015. "I was seeing people from college, people I haven't seen in forever. It was freaky what I lived through last night, and it may happen again tonight."
For the second night in a row, Cuomo, 49, who has repeatedly said that he refuses to be sidelined by the virus, merged his personal experience with news coverage of the global pandemic in an effort to drive home the seriousness of the outbreak. During Wednesday's show, the anchor provided viewers with a firsthand account of what coronavirus symptoms may feel like, while also interviewing guests such as CNN chief medical correspondent Sanjay Gupta, New Jersey Democratic Gov. Phil Murphy and the loved ones of a New Jersey emergency room doctor who recently died after treating covid-19 patients.

PS, that means muscle boy is working his way through it, sounds like he’s gonna get it over with soon. Appears to have a functioning immune system.

Speaking of unimaginable suffering, there was that time that Don Lemon’s Boyfriend forgot to use the Lube. It was painful and horrifying.
What a hero, if only Biden would do the world a favor and pick Fredo as his running mate.
Is he really sick with the virus?
Why do we have to put up with the self-pitying drama?

Just watched Chris Cuomo interview with Governor Cuomo. Might just be brothers bickering but it came off as a pissing match.
Fredo lives.
Sounds to me like he got some bad acid.
