While coronavirus ravages New York – with officials desperately clamoring for life-saving supplies and federal assistance – attention has also turned to years of fiscal mismanagement and cost-cutting, despite it being one of the highest-taxed states in the country.
Since the outbreak gained a foothold in the United States earlier this year – and quickly spawned across New York, a state of 19.5 million people – Democratic Gov. Andrew Cuomo has appealed for support. He has also criticized the Trump administration's handling of the pandemic.
But critics contend Cuomo also needs to look closer to home.

This vile lowlife Governor Cuomo has prevented ordinary New Yorkers in the earliest stages of the disease from having access to life saving hydroxychloroquine. Yet you have to wonder if his brother Chis of CNN who is in “self quarantine” with COVID-19 somehow, someway was able to receive hydroxychloroquine/Zithromax and is receiving treatment.
How many illegals from all over the world are living in illegal apartments in NYC? How many are packed into small spaces where the disease is shared?
The biggest concern for Democrats is getting them enrolled in the Census, so NY can keep their Democrat Congressmen and their prominent place at the federal government trough, sucking up “social safety net” funds paid for by US citizens across the fruited Plain. Look at the numbers when this hellacious plague subsides. Is NY worth it?
Despite??? I would argue that high taxes, by definition, CAUSE waste and abuse. That's why the taxes are high. If they eliminated the waste and abuse, they wouldn't need the high taxes.

People have been fleeing New York in record numbers because it is a socialist state. The virus has accelerated the exodus. New York is in steep decline, Cuomo is the Captain.
REALITY CHECK: Cuomo passed up an opportunity to replenish dwindling NY ventilator supplies, opting, instead, to
“feel good about himself” by printing thousands of “I love New York” banners for display around the state.
NOTE WELL: Then-Pres Obama, was cutting CDC funding t the tune of hundreds of millions of dollars at the same time.

Cuomo and his Democrat Legislative allies have thoroughly gutted N.Y. State. 6 billion dollars in debt, infrastructure a mess. Over a billion squandered on his Start Up New York scam. Anyone else notice something squirrely going on with the county-by-county positive numbers being reported in NYS?
It’s not a question of posting time. It’s patients’ cases being moved around, reassigned to a different county.
Now there may be an reasonable explanation for this, but since there’s no bloody transparency it’s impossible to know and trust.
