President Donald Trump’s allies are trying to contain a politically risky election year fight with Michigan Gov. Gretchen Whitmer as he struggles to balance presidential politics with a global pandemic in one of the nation’s most important swing states.
Both sides have tried to de-escalate the feud this week, although Trump’s supporters in particular sought to downplay tensions that ratcheted up over the weekend when the Republican president unleashed a social media broadside against Whitmer, a Democrat who had been critical of the federal government’s response to the coronavirus outbreak. Trump has clashed with other Democratic governors as well, but he saved his most aggressive insults for the first-term female governor, who is considered a leading vice presidential prospect for his opponent.

Of course, Joe Biden could easily fall for our President's feint, and select the Demagogic Party loser Half-Whitmer as his running mate as a consequence of the scolding DJT gave her. BTW, she's already backed down. OTOH, if she took that VP nomination, she'd probably have to step down as Michigan's governor, as George Romney (R-ino) did when he sought the nomination in 1968, and we'd be rid of that a-hole.
I continue to think that A) Biden will be the D nominee, and that he'll select Buttigieg as his running mate. The only shade that's been thrown on that was his ridiculous support for the "trans" community, which he discussed with President Grover Cleveland, just before Joe discovered the structure of DNA.
Just about every state that has come up short in handling the virus attack is headed by a Democrat governor. Thank God for POTUS, Trump. When I see NY Governor, Cuomo bitch every day, but...when I look around NY & NYC and witness all that Trump has taken successful, direct action upon, I realize that Governor, Mario, Chris, Andrew Cuomo sucks and is nothing more then a gigantic BS artist, at best!!! Yep...vote Democrat, Americans and destroy your country!!!
