More voters say the Trump administration isnt doing enough to combat the coronavirus outbreak, according to a new POLITICO/Morning Consult poll.
The survey, conducted immediately before President Donald Trump announced a 30-day extension of his physical and social distancing guidelines to slow the spread of Covid-19, shows 47 percent of voters feel the administration isnt doing enough in response to the outbreak, greater than the 40 percent who feel the administration is doing the right amount.
Two weeks ago, 43 percent said the administration wasnt doing enough in the days following the initial measures deployed to reduce the impacts of the virus, while 39 percent said it was doing the right amount.

The fun part is that Rham Emanuel left a copy of the playbook in the WH and now we’ve got Trump playing quarterback!
The higher numbers mentioned yesterday suggest that both Trump and the doctors want to have a high number out there so that when they beat this thing with only 20,000 deaths they can all claim massive victory.
I don’t think anyone really expects more than 20,000 deaths. @ObGYNFL has pretty much been right on the “curves” and he has projected 22,000, with under 200,000 worldwide.
Finally, it should be obvious that “cases” are not “deaths.” But the media really, really wants to avoid the death to case ratio cuz that would make this look . . .
Like the flu.
It is sick.
If it says CNN AP or any alphabet network “poll”, I start laughing..esp polutico.
yes—like in Casablanca—”round up the usual suspects—”Politico/Monmouth/CNN polls”
So here is what happened....Trump starts the daily briefings, they are watched by millions, his popularity goes up, the news media freaks out and you start reading one story after another about Trump not doing enough which is heard by a very nervous population and presto, the story is now how it has all fizzled out.....
Politico = Amazon Compost
We also really need to take the House away from Pelosi who once again, is saying there will be investigations. When will this evil POS go away?
We all know how skewed polls can be.
It’s Politico which means it’s straight up DNC propaganda.
I listened to one report on NBC national yesterday in regards to HCQ. Didn't recognize the narrative offered, but then, I'm limited by following the issue and having actual facts.
The reporting is poison.

While the new poll was conducted before the extension of the household isolation recommendations, it comes as other polls suggest the positive marks Trump earned for his early response to the crisis are turning more negative.
The poll was conducted before isolation recommendations.
The only thing after asking people to self-isolate is strict enforcement akin to martial law. Do people want martial law?
No one can make test kits and ventilators magically appear with the snap of their fingers. Trump has 'mobilized the troops' to ramp-up production.
The question is what more do people want or expect?
When analyzing a poll, question number one is: who paid for it?
Often, that info will do away with the need to ask additional questions.
Its not the virus thats terrifying.
Its the sheeples so willingly surrendering their Constitutional rights in the blink of an eye.
This is just Politico BS. He’s never given a better press conference, about as sincere as you can get. Even the “Democrat across the street” mentioned to me last night ... “He seems to be doing all he can do.”
I am not interested in Politicos polls at all. What a waste of space on the board.
Great analysis, Laz. 100% better than Politico itself.
They suck.
Agreed. All based on some shady stats that 200,000 Americans are going to die in the next two weeks!
"Polls from Navigator and Daily Kos/Civiq"
Heckuva source there.
Look up Naviogator polling. The Daily Kos one speaks for itself
