Japanese VP: The WHO Should be Renamed the ‘Chinese Health Organization’

For its role in helping Beijing cover up coronavirus.

The deputy prime minister of Japan says that the WHO should be renamed the ‘Chinese Health Organization’ for its role in helping Beijing cover-up the severity of the coronavirus outbreak.

Referring to a petition which now has almost 700,000 signatures calling on WHO Director-General Tedros Adhanom to resign, Taro Aso tore into the organization for conspiring with China and failing to stop a global pandemic that could have been prevented.

“People think the World Health Organization should change its name. It shouldn’t be called the WHO, it should be renamed the Chinese Health Organization (CHO). This appeal is truly resonating with the people,” said Aso.

“Early on, if the WHO had not insisted to the world that China had no pneumonia epidemic, then everybody would have taken precautions,” he added, noting that Taiwan had to face coronavirus on its own because it was excluded from the WHO.

Indeed, as we have highlighted, the World Health Organization repeatedly amplified Chinese propaganda that the coronavirus outbreak was under control, including a January 14th tweet which falsely claimed there was no human to human transmission of the disease, despite this having occurred in December.

Throughout January, the WHO praised China for its open and “speedy” response to COVID-19, even as Beijing authorities were silencing and disappearing doctors like Ai Fen who tried to warn the world that China was engaged in a cover-up.

The global health body also repeatedly told countries not to enforce border controls that could have stopped the spread of the virus, instead placing more importance on avoiding the “stigmatization” of Chinese people.

The Director General of WHO is Ethiopian. China owns Ethiopia through debt trapping. The Director has no choice but to do China’s bidding. China will eventually own the UN. They will debt trap many small countries and then tell them how to vote and what to say. China will also decide which countries to investigate.

Then we need to make sure we keep electing presidents who don’t give a dam about the UN.

Short term, not that hard. Long term, it is.

BTW, history is incredible.

75 years is a blink in the grand scheme but it’s amazing how Japan and the US went from wanting to destroy each other (but let’s not forget who started it) to being good allies.

That’s a good thing.

I wonder what the quickest historical turnaround from War to Good Friends is, in term of years, in history.

At least there is one politician on earth with some courage. Too bad he isn’t an American. Every dime we send to the UN and it’s agencies ought to be reallocated to our own coronavirus relief funding.

Let their friends in China fund the UN. We’ve wasted enough US taxpayer dollars on the failed One World wet dream of the old Leftist,Woodrow Wilson, an enemy of freedom.

One thing I love about the Japanese is that they doing give a diddly damn about political correctness.

Call them racist and you will get either

  1. A blank stare or
  2. A comment to the effect that it is normal to look after your own family first.

The “Wuhan Health Organization” at least has the right initials.

Tedros is more sinister than merely captured by the Chinese. He is diabolically evil in his own right. Though yes, an evil actor for the Chinese.

And all too chummy with our CDC/NIH stars, too.

I think that if you look at the history of it, you would see that the US and Japan had close relations for more than a century before WWII.

My take is that Japan was the United States’ answer to the colonialism of the Europian nations.

Greedy industrial interests in the US dictated a one-sidedness to the relationship (as always happens with colonialism) that caused Japan to look out for its own interests. It turned to military conquest, largely in China, for this.

History will tell that we backed the wrong Asians. We payed for this in Korea and Vietnam.

At least, that is my take.

Taro is anti-Chinese to be sure but also very pro-Taiwan which I think is the root of the issue. And the WHO chief has made overtly prejudicial remarks targeting the Taiwanese people. Hopefully he won’t apologize for this like some past controversies. One of the most honest Japanese politicians for sure.

Bring Out Your Dead

Post to me or FReep mail to be on/off the Bring Out Your Dead ping list.

The purpose of the “Bring Out Your Dead” ping list (formerly the “Ebola” ping list) is very early warning of emerging pandemics, as such it has a high false positive rate.

The false positive rate was 100%.

At some point we may well have a high mortality pandemic, and likely as not the “Bring Out Your Dead” threads will miss the beginning entirely.

*sigh* Such is life, and death...

If a quarantine saves just one child's or one old fart’s life, it's worth it.

Would love to see Pres. Trump insist on a full forensic accounting audit of the WHO before they get another dime, if only to determine why they spend 2/3 of their budget on “travel expenses”, not medicines to help people

This organization reeks of corruption and incompetence right now

Stalin and Hitler in the reverse direction.

A very interesting question by you.

In addition to that, Italians are coming to view China as a valuable partner instead of the instigating the coronavirus.
