Well last year, November in fact, I saw that movie “Contagion” which is about a virus that starts in China, kills people, spreads around the world, and eventually the virus burns out, end of movie. And when I first heard of this Coronavirus and where it started, I thought it was a joke, this is exactly like the movie.

Anyway, I don’t think it’s any coincidence, people knew the threat by China beforehand. I clearly clearly clearly remember Trump talking about this a few years ago “Chy-nah and the viruses” and talking about the need for travel restrictions but that went out the door when the Rat/RINO uniparty of treason immediately branded him as a racist and a Nazi for having the audacity to even think of a travel restriction, not to mention the constant distractions with the collusion hoax, the Kavanaugh rape hoax, the impeachment hoax.

sars in 2002-2004 was a coronavirus, was scary in asia but didn’t do much in the west. It also was respiratory disease.

SARS had a higher death rate and caused more severe symptoms than Covid-19. In general, the more deadly a virus is, the less likely it is to spread.

I read where the Chinese use the narrow screen for wechat and stuff. Makes sense when filming one person - but not in most situations.

When this virus was first talked about, and Chinese videos were coming out about how they were going to tackle this, I made the comment “Sure - they are going to find a cure. They can’t even hold their phones the right f-ing way!”

I forget the name of the movie/show/ video game - but it is about some lab that created a zombie virus. The logo for the lab is the same as the biolab in Wuhan but instead of blue and white it is red and white.

And in the video game, most of the action occurs in Raccoon City. Corona is an anagram for Racoon (missing a “c” - but close enough!)

I suspect the death rates are skewed again, just like with Italy. An acquaintance of our family passed away on March 15. He was in his mid-70’s, had severe COPD (pretty much bedridden & on oxygen), and was in and out of hospitals over the last few months. Last round, he was sent home around 3/12 and then “took a turn”, went back to the ER on the 14th and died the next day. If he tests ‘positive’ for the presence of the virus, that will be his “Cause of Death”. Bat gazpacho flu may have contributed, but Joe was not in good shape at all the last couple of YEARS.

My own opinion is that there is a hell of lot of that going on with many of the old folks that are passing away the last two months.

I got a kick out of that. The link is rightly correcting missinformation and missunderstanding. But then they use the term “seafood” market.

It is a “wet” market, which was initially translated wrong to “seafood” market! (wet = water I guess). Not exactly sure why a place that sells live (and weird) animals is called a wet market though. Probably because the blood is still flowing in the live animals? As opposed to just meat with “dry” blood?

I found some old Lysol cans in the shed - perhaps from the 2009 Sars thing. I noticed they are 79% ethanol. The new ones are 58% along with .10% of some long name (Alkyl dimethyl benzyl ammonium saccharinate).

I think that last one is the same stuff on Clorox wipes and 409.

Thanks! I’ve never seen it - but read about the “link”. Weird stuff. Especially the logo thing. The movie was before the lab in Wuhan was built. I can just imagine some Chinese nerd thinking it would be a great logo.
