CNNs Chris Cuomo made his first television appearance Tuesday night since testing positive for the novel coronavirus, describing the social distancing precautions he is taking and urging viewers to remain resolute even though its going to get worse as testing becomes more commonplace.
I feel fine, Im able to do the show. You do not want this, and I am not able to be there for my family right now in the way that I want to be, Cuomo said in a broadcast from his basement, where he also broadcast Monday ahead of the test results, adding that he was not yet sure whether he had transmitted the virus to any members of his family.
And yet, Im hesitant to talk about me, because who cares? This is so small compared to what so many of us are facing, Cuomo, continued, noting that ramped-up testing would likely result in significantly more positive test results in the weeks ahead.
This is a fight, its going to get worse, and were going to suffer, he continued. And you have to accept that not with fear, but with almost a fanatical sense of passion to fight, because thats the only way youve ever made it through anything hard in your life, and this will be no different.

Good question. CNN should've cut to commercial right after he said this.
“I feel fine, Im able to do the show. You do not want this”
So,Fredo, which is it, you “feel fine” or we “do not want this”?
I’m just going to say a prayer for Chris and his family.
I don’t like him, but I don’t wish this on him or his loved ones.
Some one should start ragging on this guy for “NOT SOCIAL DISTANCING AND TAKING THIS FLU SERIOUSLY”
Well, it appears that Fredo will be endlessly touting the very mild case he has. Well, at least hes adding his small portion of herd immunity.
Meaning at least so far, the reason "You do not want this" is not because of the disease, but the "cure."
And not come back. You know he’s lying anyway, he loves the attention. He loves being part of thestory, even if it takes him away from his family.
“I feel fine, Im able to do the show. You do not want this”
Fredo seems to be walking a fine line between ... hey it’s not that bad because I can still do my show ... AND ... Trump is going to get us all killed. :-)
And not come back. You know he’s lying anyway, he loves the attention. He loves being part of the story, even if it takes him away from his family.
Too bad Fredo. I will ask Sister Mary Ann Chovy to pray for you and your brother Farfel.
Is he going to entertain us some hammy oh-the-pain overacting while the virus runs its course? I can see him “reporting” from his bed:
“Water...water...”, he croaks. A nurse hands him a glass, he sips, and suddenly throws up his lunch. “Lungs...burning! Can’t...breath!” Then the feed is cut.
A similar episode the following day. And then he begins another series of reports built around a slooow, “agonizing” ten-day recovery.
Wake me when he goes fishing.
Possibly infected his elderly mother.
I hope they martyr themselves before a cure comes on-line.
This guy said a bigger drama queen than Lemon or Cooper, and thats saying something.
He looks and sounds fine. Why, and more importantly, HOW did he get a test?
