You think that's irony? I received a substantial raise in 2019, which may disqualify me for the Corona bucks stimulus if based on my 2019 filng. I lost my job due to restructuring in February 2020, just before all he'll broke loose with Corona. I had a couple promising interviews in late February and early March when the economy was placed on hold. Had I delayed filing 2019 and stood on my 2018 filing, I would be in better shape.

You should look into that. I read somewhere that the IRS has a process to file an income adjustment application to deal with your type of situation.

I lost my job due to restructuring in February 2020, just before all he'll broke loose with Corona The payments going out now are advance payments on a 2020 credit.
When you do your 2020 taxes, you may get additional credit, or have to give back, based on where you are with respect to the cutoff amount.
