Are the els, subways, and buses still running there in Philly? (It's a little hard to keep a 6-feet distance there!)

This is why we can’t have nice things. It’s obvious that despite the escalation of this deadly virus, people are not respecting courteous requests from state and local governments to stay at home. Either Philadelphians don’t understand what it means to practice social distancing or simply do not care to. None of this is okay. As irresponsible behavior continues, more and more people are put at risk of exposure.
We are now at that part of the pandemic where we should stop requesting and start enforcing. Playtime is over.
Mayor Kenney, for the good of the city and its residents, I modestly propose that you shut the city down immediately.

Let’s review the NYC and NYS “shutdowns”:
It was never serious.
The homeless untouched.
Illegals untouched.
Gays festivals untouched.
Known drug markets untouched.
Muslims untouched.
Subways never closed.
Still an open borders sanctuary city/state.
A JOKE of a lock down to “bend” the curve.

Regular people see right through it and are ignoring the power mad mayors and governors.

Shutting it down would be racist, wouldn’t it? Keeping out illegals and Muslims? Preposterous!
All of these governors and mayors are using Coronavirus as an excuse to create authoritarian societies. Another month of this and they will be facing rebellions.

SEPTA is on an “Severe Weather” schedule, and I haven’t seen a bus with more than one or two people on one when they pass me (I seldom do the subteranian thing anymore). I’d assume most of these people are medical support workers or food industry workers.
“Ghost Town” wouldn’t begin to cover it.

Not here in Illinois. Gun shops are specifically designated as essential businesses.

Yep. Not to mention the NYC officials blantantly TELLING people to go out and mingle and visit Chinatown last month. Of course this was to show POTUS how he wasn’t getting away with his horrible attack on the Chinese people by calling COVID19 a “china virus”
