South Carolina Gov. Henry McMaster (R) on Tuesday ordered all nonessential businesses to close in response to the coronavirus pandemic.
The closures, including theaters, salons and concert venues, will go into effect starting Wednesday, McMaster announced at a briefing.
The update comes one day after McMaster announced he would be closing all public access to beaches and waterways.

South Carolina’s health department reported an additional 158 COVID-19 cases and four additional deaths Tuesday, bringing the statewide total to 1,083 cases and 22 deaths.

This, along with an authorization that the police can breakup and sanction any group of 3 or more people, will make life very limited in SC.

Gah! I am a high maintenance lady - my roots are going to be coming in any day now. I’m almost 50 and have been coloring my hair for 25 years and I have a feeling in a few days I am going to be horrified.....

Limited? All non essential businesses are to close. I think it means ALL businesses except food stores and service stations.
The crowd I work for has been deemed essential and I get to go to the office tomorrow.
I flip flop work from home and site visits. If I could WFH full time I would but somebody has to go check on things and do the physical side of IT there. That leaves me.
There is a letter in my bag along with the laptop. I guess it’s my travel paper.
