Tryin’!
Will have to go to the store soon enough though.

Perhaps it would help to take a look at infection rates amongst women in countries where they wear burquas.
“when the government cant do what it has promised, ie it cant provide the service it has promised, suddenly they are telling you that you dont really need the service or worse that it would be bad for you. The advice is not based on science but rather on their own inability to do their job and their desire to cover that up.”
YES... this! Remember recently when they wanted to stop PSA tests, mammograms? The “problem” was that people discovered things early and wanted treatment. So they floated that it wasn’t helpful and the testing for both should be much more rare.
I think he’s giving bogus information on masks.
Nothing but tripe and drivel. Thanks for the leadership S.G.
For crying out loud! Don’t ever use a condom- you might not put it on correctly, so not using one is for your own safety!
Oh no! You shouldn’t wear a seatbelt- if your flaming car flies off the edge of a hundred foot cliff and plunges into the ocean and sinks, it might be hard to get out. Really, it’s for your own safety.
So please, Mr. S.G., if you don’t want the plebeians using masks, fine. I’m a big boy, I can take the news that none are being allocated because there’s an acute shortage, exacerbated by a fundamental lack of forethought and planning from our leadership, and, therefore, we’re not important enough. But don’t you dare pat me paternally on the head and try to convince me it’s because it’s some how more saferer because we might touch our faces when wearing one. We reflexively touch our faces when we aren’t wearing one anyway- so how in the world is having a barrier there worse?
This is the sort of crap that gets people angry.
Well the hat cape sword etc would have to be included.
Unless you're sick or dealing in close proximity with sick people you don't need to wear a mask, its really that simple.
Common sense and surgical masks...both in short supply in the USA
You may want to read up on logical fallacies some day...

And THANKS for telling me what I’m free to do! Just wow, LOL! ;)
One would have to take into account whether a test subject had licked any muslim shrines or not.

Are you aware of how far and fast breath-sourced aerosols travel in the air?
I’m with you! I’ve had enough of this shit and seeing people going shopping at Walmart wearing masks makes our society look like a bunch of 3rd world pus-ies! I understand if you are elderly or have health issues to begin with but this is getting ridiculous!!
It works both ways, friend. If you go to an ER now you will see every healthcare provider there wearing masks, face shields, and gowns. That's not to protect you against their germs.
I don't wear a mask but I couldn't miss the meme op.
People wear masks in China to avoid facial recognition.
Been there - sure of it for at least some.
Thank you for posting this!
Not from anything you've posted, no.
Are people really this dumb? A mask prevents inhalation of droplets. It prevents touching the mucous membrane peripheries of the the nose and mouth. If infected it prevents transmission out. Of course everyone right now should be wearing a mask. There are not enough masks for everyone hence the recommendation. Droplets can also get into the eyes and infect via the mucousal back of the eyelids.
Spoke to a nurse working the covid floor(s) today. My county has 106 cases officially. She told me there are more than 500 suspected cases in her hospital right now. It is only one of the mid-sized facilities of the 7 hospitals in our county. If 20% are hospitalized and it takes 5 days from contagion to hospitalization and each non-hospitalized case infects 2.5 more people this thing is going to get a lot worse very quickly.
I can envision a SNL skit where the Surgeon General gives a briefing saying we don’t need to wear masks and then once the cameras are off he dons a mask.
Touching your face? I thought the virus was spread by inhalation?
