This drug is similar to Hydroxychloroquine in that they both suppress the immune system during a cytokine storm. Perhaps one does a better job than the other.

How many doses do we have of this drug?

Where is this drug made?

What’s the cost per dose?

Italian doctors said that a 101-year-old Italian man who survived the 1918 Spanish flu pandemic and World War II, recovered from COVID-19.

One tough uomo.

hmmm Hydroxychloroquine is 100% effective according to this article and Tolicizumab is 95% accordign to article, and Tolicizumab is more effective?

We have dozens and dozens of millions of doses of Hydroxychloroquine , and it’s savign lives- and is nearly 100% effective- Why do we have to wait for a clinical trial of Tolicizumab that could take months? IF Tolicizumab isn’t available because it hasn’t been approved yet, while the Hydroxy drug is available, and being used, how is Tolicizumab more effective? The drug being used is far more effective than a drug that isn’t available- except for clinical trials-

Will they forego the clinical trials? People are dying- They need drugs NOW-

Note to dem donors...don’t drink this cleaner, either.

If you haven't seen this 15+ minute video of Rudy Guiliani interviewing a NYC doctor I think you will be interested. I found it on Bill Whittle's channel so go to the 3:20 mark to see the interview only. The interview ends at about the 19:00 minute mark.

The CoronaSphere Lounge Episode 11: EUREKA! (I Have Found It!)

He has treated 500-600 patients, hasn't lost one, hasn't put one on a ventilator and uses $20 dollars worth of pills.

“Tolicizumab is so effective that the FDA gives green lights to Phase III Tocilizumab Trial for COVID-19 pneumonia. “

There doesn’t seem to have been enough time to be in a Phase III trial. The disease hasn’t been known long enough.

The Dr pushing this drug, Giuseppe Galati, completely dismisses HCQ/ZPAK

despite the large noise on social media. Here in Italy they are trying several combinations of antiviral included the combination HCQ + azithro. Infectivologist refer little benefit.

Our infectivologists & ICU are not referring up to now a significant improvement. We have good case reports about #tolicizumab 👍

There are trials underway for both drugs.

Don’t know the details. Maybe hydroxychloroquine + azithromycin is fine before the symptoms get too bad, and Tocilizumab works better on critically ill patients.

Lots still to be learned.

For those more equal animals who will be able to afford to be among the few who get help. I’m more interested in seeing the end of the globalization that brought the epidemic.

Which drug do we think has the biggest Big Pharma push behind it at this point? Oh, right, the one on patent.

Bring Out Your Dead

Post to me or FReep mail to be on/off the Bring Out Your Dead ping list.

The purpose of the “Bring Out Your Dead” ping list (formerly the “Ebola” ping list) is very early warning of emerging pandemics, as such it has a high false positive rate.

The false positive rate was 100%.

At some point we may well have a high mortality pandemic, and likely as not the “Bring Out Your Dead” threads will miss the beginning entirely.

*sigh* Such is life, and death...

If a quarantine saves just one child's or one old fart’s life, it's worth it.

I do not believe tolicizumba is an ionophore like Hydroxychloroquine. It’s that Hydroxychloroquine feature which allows therapeutics to enter the infected human cell. Immune suppressant is important against th cytokine storm but Hydorxychloroquine also has that feature.
