Since the last day to complete the Census is tomorrow, I was curious if there was a census tracking website and I came across this one.
With one day left, the responses seem very low. Keep in mind this is an on-line census so there should be no delays because the completed forms are 'in the mail'.
It looks to me this on-line census didn't produce the higher responses than mail-in forms.
There are going to be a lot of follow-up visits required but do they have the staff even without the current coronavirus crisis.
Trouble ahead for congressional redistricting and state funding allocations?
April, 30, 2020.
I did the on-line thing.
Responded to name and address and total people in household. Phone number is 555-1212.
Race/ethnicity = American.
That’s about it.
Am I the only one who hasnt done it? Dont think we ever got the paper one, and like the taxes havent done yet. Is there a penalty for being late?
I got like 4 notices in the mail and did it on line.
Only took a few minutes.
Then a couple of days later got another notice in the mail.
Here too...finished the thing on line and a week later received another notice.
I thought this was printed and that’s why they couldn’t add the citizenship question later.
I live in a blue state so might not make it in time. Damn. If enough people run out of time like that, they might lose a Congressman.
Lol.. i put us citizen
I live in Spain but for voting purposes I am a Georgia resident. I didn’t get a paper form and when I go to the government website to respond electronically it terminates my session for security reasons. So how do I get counted?
If they come to my door they'll be met with a door-slam and that'll be that.
I refuse to answer. I live in Illinois and I hope to high heaven this state loses yet another representative in Congress after this census.
I did it online. It was almost entirely confirming what Big Brother already knows about me.
I NEVER answered the last census why should I now?
Race/ethnicity = American
That’s exactly what I did, too.
>>”...Race/ethnicity = American.”
I responded the same.
I noticed that in the samples shown for this question did not show, “American”.
Something’s odd about this census.
Your post got me off my ass. Its extremely simple...the hardest question was figuring out what sex I am...out of 10!!! And then how to define what my wife is. No box for bitch so I just checked spouse. /s
I’m waiting for the paper copy to come so I can stop answering when they go past their Constitutional mandate to allocate representatives. Last time it was question three.
We lived in Japan during the 1990 and 2000 census, so did not get counted at all.
They said they would mail a paper form. That’s what I am waiting for so I can choose which questions to answer.
