During the Great Depression the highest rate of US unemployment was 24.9% in 1933.
The St. Louis Fed projected on Monday the US unemployment rate during the coronavirus panic could reach 32% unemployment — higher than the Great Depression!
The St. Louis Fed estimated that 42 million Americans could lose their jobs.
A man-made depression is coming.
And it was all caused by faulty data!

I drove past a local food bank heavy truck on the road yesterday. Immaculate truck and brand spanking new. If they have that kind of dough to spend on a truck they better be delivering the goods.
Our economy now is heavily retail and service based. Now there are 30 million or so illegals and their anchor babies. Those are two issues we were not facing during the Great Depression.
And it’s not the one month that we shut down that destroyed everything. We can survive a month. Which is THE LONGEST it should be. That’s up in about less than 2 weeks.
It’s the panic that wreaked havoc.
