The coronavirus pandemic has slammed New York City so hard that health care workers are using forklifts to load dead bodies into refrigerated trucks, according to a viral video.
The 5-minute and 32-second clip posted to YouTube shows medical officials helping to load the corpses in body bags into the mobile morgue outside Brooklyn Hospital Center in Fort Greene, according to a man shooting the clip who does not identify himself.
This is for real. This is Brooklyn, a man filming the terrifying event can be heard saying in the video.
They putting the bodies in the 18-wheeler this is no joke this is Brooklyn Hospital, the man says as he begs for people to stay inside as the deadly virus continues to pummel the city.
The trembling man continues, This may make you want to take this serious.

Is that a rented truck?
They are probably loading cadavers over and over.
“Look at all those dead people”.
My son’s neighbor is sick and tested positive. An older family friend has been in the ICU for three days with Coronavirus. He is 72 so we are very worried that he won’t recover.
Not now.. This is horrifying.
UHM... what this means is that they don’t have enough space for dead bodies. THIS IS REAL. IT IS NOT A HOAX.
Soylent Green?
Brother of a friend. He had small cell lung cancer, too.
My pleasure.
People die in hospitals every day.
Hospitals do not have large morgues.
During flu season, more people than average die. They fill up the slots in the small morgue.
If there are even a few more deathsfrom any reasonthey will need help.
Mobile mortuary vehicle indicate this is serious, but it doesnt mean that everyone is dying. It is actually an indication that so few people die in a hospital that the morgues are built tiny.
Normal load off to the office of the Medical Examiner. Chinese Virus isn’t the only thing that makes patients die. Medical misadventure ranks up there with heart disease. Just saying...
How many bodies a day did the hospitals generate BEFORE the Corona outbreak?
Several aspects of this “citizen” video are labeled wrong.
#1 it is one person (possibly a body, but probably one) on a hospital bed (full bed assembly w/ motor and support, quite heavy).
2.) A forklift is needed to lift the person on the bed and the bed assembly into the trailer.
3.) The trailer is not “full of bodies”, probably has some. The TRAILER is a FEMA/DHS supplied refrigerated trailer with a full generator powered freezing unit (ThermoKing etc.) on it.
To be used as an overflow morgue (means the hospital is already full in it’s own morgue.
The dude filming it is needlessley hysterical. And says “this is real”.... about 100 times over and over. Looney, and losing it.
Weight of the bed, the mechanical bed that is also contaminated for the moment-— requires a fork lift.
Not sure why they would give up a functional bed instead of taking the bed and decontaminating it, separately. Must really be a mess if not.
Also heightens the drama.
I am not sure either. Hospital beds are not cheap. They are often not owned but rather leased.
Decontamination of a bed is not a huge deal. It happens every day. The mattresses are impervious...just spray them down. The linens go into the laundry.
I bet the videographer didnt hang around to see the bed come out.
Two people on my block went critical yesterday and several people in the surrounding community have been confirmed.
It's not likely that a large proportion of people would know someone who's died of COVID-19 unless we're talking about a celebrity or a nationally-known musician.
