I was just on a hobby forum I participate in and the webmaster outside of LA has come down sick with a virus. He can’t get tested because his case is not serious enough to go to the hospital and results would take up to ten days. He has been taking hydroxyQ for his background autoimmune disease and said it hasn’t prevented him from getting sick (his symptoms are fatigue, fever and dry cough). He can’t get tested due to the testing demand but his doctor assumes he has the covid-19 virus. Being a lib, he blames Trump for all this and for his not being able to get tested, etc., etc. Others on the forum jumped in in bashing Trump. I posted there was blame enough to go around and quoted and linked The Hill article.

Thanks so much for posting it - though it won’t stop the anti-Trump bashers, it may show them that there is another side to the story.

Two more points re: NY vs. California:
1. Californians, on average, get much more sunshine than New Yorkers, NYC in particular, so their Vitamin D levels are higher.
2. The media hasn't dare mention this, but a number of the New York victims are Jews, the ultraorthodox in particular. The early "hotspots" included synagogues, Jewish schools and even Yeshiva U. And, again, religious clothing requirements put most of them in the Vitamin D-deprived category.

I thought this was interesting re Fauci:

“It’s a very, very low risk to the United States,” Fauci said during an interview with radio show host John Catsimatidis.”

Fauci said “don’t worry” on January 26. Four days later PDJT shut down air traffic from China,

Trump is being criticized for not acting quickly enough in spite of the biggest hotshot (allegedly) immunologist on God’s green earth, saying the virus is no big deal.

Would it be wrong to conclude that our President is a better decision maker than Dr. Fauci?
