On point of care test by Abbott ... at most 15 minutes for a negative result. There are 18,000 of these machines around the world. starting April 2, 50,000 tests a day, first shipments already made.

Interesting he says the test result changes how the people are treated. This is contrary to what has been said in the past, which was that treatment depends on the symptoms, not on the virus.

Can you insure that every patient that needs a ventilator will get one? (he got pissed at this gotcha question yesterday, groundhog day). Trump now praises GM for getting on the ball. He doesn;t take the bait on will you guarantee enough ventilators.

Personally....I think that a lot of things that were said/done, initially, were to get our (very lacking) supplies up to speed.

Trump Task Force doing measured responses to get supplies up (considering practically ALL supply chains are/were cut off, from China).

I think the new testing responses will also involve the HCQ/Zpak protocol, at some point in the treatment schedule. (Again...drug and drug component supplies were cut off.)
