New York Gov. Andrew Cuomo said Saturday that government-mandated travel restrictions on his state would be a “federal act of war.”
He also said he is willing to sue Rhode Island for implementing a policy requiring visitors from New York to self-quarantine for 14 days in order to slow the spread of coronavirus.

Bad news out of Manhattan where a family member is a doc at a major hospital. They still have beds and ventilators, but there’s a crazy mortality rate for any patient that needs to be intubated. I won’t repeat the number she told me, but ventilators aren’t going to be enough.
We need a treatment. Yesterday. FDA needs to approve extraordinary measures, or there will be many needless deaths, and terrible injuries to survivors.

The Governor of Florida was the first to mandate a 14-day quarantine from all visitors from New York, New Jersey, and Connecticut. He has since added Louisiana to the list.
Florida has Police at the airports, and state troopers near the border all monitoring persons and traffic from those states.
But, Cuomo chooses to target the tiny state of Rhode Island?

Pres. Trump has the legal authority, under current law, to order the CDC to impose travel restrictions anywhere in the US the CDC deems necessary.
