McCarthy is not the best choice either. How about Jim Jordan for speaker?

Win the House first, then decide on Speaker.

Trump has retweeted a disgusting tweet from John Kerry, where Kerry called Rep. Thomas Massie an asshole, simply because he wanted a roll call vote, to get every member of congress formally on record for how they voted for this bill, and Trump obviously agreed with John Kerry about that.   I usually agree with every single tweet Trump puts out there, but forwarding Kerry's malodorous tweet like that was disgraceful, and Trump was 100% wrong to do that, and to go after Massie like he did.   Trump should be thoroughly ashamed for doing that.

Yes, we are in a dire emergency here, and something had to be done, but, frankly, Trump just got his ass kicked by Pelosi, as did all the republicans who supported this piece of crap. Pelosi got every single thing she really wanted. It's like saying that everyone here is extremely thirsty, so we made this wonderful punch to quench your thirst, but just disregard all those little Pelosi turds floating around in the punch bowl.

What a disgrace.

Why would Republicans deserve to win elections after this fiasco?

In scathing Tweets, the president laced into Rep. Thomas Massie (R-KY) for his opposition to the package.

“Looks like a third rate Grandstander named @RepThomasMassie, a Congressman from, unfortunately, a truly GREAT State, Kentucky, wants to vote against the new Save Our Workers Bill in Congress,” Trump wrote. “He just wants the publicity. He can’t stop it, only delay, which is both dangerous …& costly. Workers & small businesses need money now in order to survive. Virus wasn’t their fault. It is ‘HELL’ dealing with the Dems, had to give up some stupid things in order to get the ‘big picture’ done. 90% GREAT! WIN BACK HOUSE, but throw Massie out of Republican Party!”

I totally understand the pressure President Trump is under, but to say, “throw Massie out of Republican Party!” is a little over the top.

For now. But don’t plan to do so in the future.

A President Trump I support 70 percent of the time is better than a President Biden who I would support less than one percent of the time.
What it is is what it is!

We need to step up and continue trump support, but after November we must demand prosecutions of all these bastards involved with the coup against a sitting president. This will be our day in the sun!

Hah! Fat chance. I once believed in Unicorns and rainbows too, then I grew up. Look at ALL the crap that we know went on and Barr can't seem to find ANY wrong doing at all?

Yeah, sure, they'll get right on to that 'justice' stuff.

If they say it’s a 2T dollar stimulus bill then that means it will cost us 10 or 20 trillion more. You can count on that.

It was 2 trillion to the public but 4 trillion went into the Fed so it was a total of 6 trillion!!

We are so without real leadership after this. We’re literally out of the frying pan and in to the fire on this one.

DO THEY ALWAYS HAVE TO GIVE THE DEMOCRATS WHAT THEY DEMAND???? ALWAYS??

By the time the dust settles? You know there are going to be more bailouts. I don't know about $10 trillion but I think the 2020 deficit will definitely be over $6 trillion.

You must be very naïve, Timmy. It only takes one poor decision of this magnitude to doom a nation.

Have you seen the huge smile on McConnell’s face? I’d say he struck gold somewhere in this humongous bill.

They don’t. But election “reforms” as proposed by Pelosi would make it a total Democrat Socialist State. That would be better than electing any Republicans, I suppose.
