A Chinese government-backed property giant has secretly raided in bulk Australia’s supplies of masks, hand sanitiser, antibacterial wipes and essential medical supplies and shipped them back to China.
The Greenland Group, which manages high-end real estate projects in Sydney and Melbourne, proactively drained Australian supplies of anti-coronavirus equipment, The Sydney Morning Herald reported.
Three million surgical masks, 500,000 pairs of gloves and bulk supplies of sanitiser and wipes were bought up in Australia and other countries where Greenland operates.
While the bulk purchases and shipping were perfectly legitimate, the goods shipped in bulk to China include the very items that have been in short supply for Australian citizens as well as health professionals.
They were accumulated at Greenland’s Sydney headquarters and sent to China over weeks in January and February.

There’s a mask manufacturing plant in Wuhan. Plus, many of our meds and supplies come from China. It needs to stop. I hope the United States has learned a lesson from all of this and we start making our own products/meds.
IS the Greenland Group actually a “REDLAND GROUP” front for Red China? Time for a real parliament commission to look into all Red Chinese investments in (i.e. manufacturing) and major purchases of key Australian commodities.
You might be surprised at what they find (if my intuition is working right).
There is no copyright protection on these drugs.
They are manufactured all over the place.
Even here in Vietnam.
They are completely free of copyright protections, which could very well be the reason, some seem to be dragging their heels, on approving them.

Had the public had masks here, like the Chinese, and worn them we might not have overtaken China’s number
of cases as we did today.
Masks do not totally protect the wearer, but they do reduce the viral load, thereby allowing the wearer to possibly build up immunity rather than being overcome by huge jolt of virus.
So your masks say “Made in USA?”

The 3M masks I have in front of me...”made in USA with globally sourced materials” on the package.
At least the quality control is American.
I have been getting emails from China suppliers that I have purchased various technical and research items from before. They are offering to ship me masks and gowns...I though they were in short supply there...hmm I’m uncertain whether they actually have the items or are just wanting to get my $ and ship never or in the future.
