Republican and Democratic senators unanimously voted to pass a coronavirus relief bill late Wednesday that gives $350,000,000 to assist refugees and migrants.
Earlier this week, it was revealed that House Speaker Nancy Pelosis relief package would include $300,000,000 for refugee assistance.
The new bill, approved by the Senate and now headed to the House, includes an additional $50 million on top of Pelosis initial $300 million for refugees.
On page 817 of the 880-page bill, the measure calls for an additional amount for Migration and Refugee Assistance, $350,000,000, to remain available until expended, to prevent, prepare for, and respond to coronavirus.

Maybe Trump can build more wall with the money.
Since we’re in the throes of a declared national emergency, can he use that money to build a wall ?
regardless that the bill says POTUS has to spend it according to blah, blah, blah of the Balanced Budget Act ?
Might as well include the 88 million for the Peace Corps, which just had all it’s employees fired.
PDJT and Mitch had to compromise on some things to get the bill passed.
I must say, however, it was particularly painful listening to my favorite president defending lavish and unnecessary funding of the Kennedy Center.
I posted an article.
If you are that freaked out, take a break.
you started a riot. congrats.
MEGA BUMP!
Good comments but I am not shocked one bit.
Most politicians are owned by the Deep State Shadow Government.
They have created a uni-Party using the leftist democrat agenda as an outline.
Makes me SOOOOO angry! Hope our President sends the bill back.
As I understand it, the is discretionary spending being added to an already existing program. That doesn’t mean that it all has to or will be spent. It’s just additional money being allocated in case it’s needed. Maybe someone who knows more about it than I do can confirm or refute me on that.
Use your phone as a hot spot.
I’m not sure he can. He could however put Americans back to work by privatising the deportation business.
too late. people that dont know anything at all about it have already decided what it means, and set it on fire.
There are plenty of folks who will refuse to vote for him if it gets passed as is.
If this gets signed, I’m betting he loses in November.
Yes we do!
This could make this bill work.
See my previous comment.
The fact that you do not know that line item veto has been ruled unconstitutional by the supreme court saddens me greatly.
It is set in motion for the Deep State actor to either steal it outright or misdirect it to their cohorts.
That’s why a good portion of the money in this bill is allocated.
No comment. I was going to post a comment but I don’t need govt agents in my office.
Kudos to Pelosi for having more balls than GOP “men”. She has the measure of her spineless opponents. I can’t blame her for pushing them around.
So?
Do you always use false premises to send an ad hominid attack?
It’s not unconstitutional.
Don’t be taken in so easily.
I will not be voting in November...whether I am alive or dead...no more voting for republicans.
I would never vote democrat..best to stay home..
