I assume you mean in terms of area. What you’ve shown in the map isn’t all the European countries - as I posted, the area of “Europe” the continent is 3.9 million sq miles, and the USA is 3.7 million sq miles.

Or did you mean “the countries of the European Union can fit three times into the size of the US”?

But even then the total area of all the countries in the EU is 1.7 million sq miles - which is 46% of the USA’s area.

Neither of those provides a condition where “europe” is 1/3rd the size of the USA.

So, I’m puzzled what you were trying to say? Do you know what you were trying to say?
