Los Angeles residents will be confined to their homes until May at the earliest, Mayor Eric Garcetti told Insider on Wednesday.
"I think this is at least two months," he said. "And be prepared for longer."

They made movies about this:
Escape from New York
and
Escape from LA
Kurt Russell must be a prophet.
The mayor is enjoying a communist's perpetual orgasm...
LA could remain in lock down forever as far as I’m concerned. Fewer garbage movies not to view.
He’s gonna show his “O Face”.
Garcetti is a puzzy, crying Uncle so soon, no skills to put up the fight. It’s all going to be Trumps fault.
Democrats: soon everyplace with be Detroit.

Yep and they wanna scream they’re not prepared with poo hits the fan. Yea, no crap.
Did the democrat mayor happen to mention that covid-19 is all Trumps fault?
You I’m going into stretch here, but hear me out. Glad you ask that question. I keep asking myself the same. Here in my county, our local news states that we have 108 cases of it, but 1 death. They don’t state the sex nor where the patient reside. Kind of like saying “we are telling you what happen - accept the information” I feel something weird going on behind this virus. Is the news partnering with the cabal to give us Fake Reports with Fake Statistic to stir panic? yes Now I do believe that they are people getting sick, but remember we the people are collateral to the cabal. They don’t give a dam who dies or lives. Is someone using this virus to transform our nation to a Communist Utopia? Yes I guess one day the truth will be revealed.
Another Democrat loser!
Two months? That is beyond the pale. It would be very reasonable for residents to protest by not paying any city levied fees or taxes.
That is a worthwhile question. Democrats and the media lie constantly. Would they cook the books to further their cause, absolutely. We have seen outrageous public statements that were provably false posted here before. When you can no longer trust your government, they shouldn't be surprised is people doon't comply.
“thus-far voluntary”
Well, here in Illinois is not supposed to be voluntary, they told us the “police may enforce” the stay home order. However, since they exempted all the “essential industries”, how are the police supposed to know if you are violating the order or just going to work in your essential job? Are they going to stop everyone and demand a note from your employer?
Nope, the police just don’t care, unless they see a bunch of young uns drinking in the park or something.
No, nobody here knows anyone sick. But a majority of freepers appear to agree that house arrest by big brother is reasonable. I can’t believe this is happening. This is like a sci-fi movie, but sadly this is real. And this is going to soon get way worse. The erasure of freedoms in the USA came remarkably easy!
PS, all public lands in Wa State were closed to the public today. “For safety of humans, the great outdoors have been closed” F’n Orwellian...
All of this, without a shot fired. Taking the freedom and liberty of every man woman and child in the world, was a piece of cake!
If stopped, just tell ‘em you work for planned parenthood ... they wouldn’t dare touch you! (I mean, after all, many of the state and city petty tyrants have included that big business in the “exempt” category with the justification that it’s “essential to public health.”) Go figure.
I could also just tell them I work at a cannabis growing operation, that has also been included as an “essential industry” in my state!
John Carpenter knew how to make a movie in those days.
Didn’t matter. Dow is still closed up over $1,300. Investors aren’t buying the left’s bull.
weirdly enough, it seems like these fools are simply knee-jerk reacting again to President Trump, such that the more he opens up the country in a couple of weeks, the more they’ll lockdown their own fiefdoms to “prove” President Trump is wrong or something ... of course all they’ll be doing is destroying their own dominions ... reminds me of the riots in the 1960’s when the denizens of Watts and Harlan burned down their own neighborhoods ...
