But lets say it is 50/50 whether they cooked it up in a lab. We may never know.

But if they deliberately loosed 5 million people on the world, that we can I think figure out, and that is just as bad.

Dr Boyle is of the opinion that the virus is a bioweapon, or a dual use bio weapon / gain of function properties / 15% fatality rate / 83% infection rate / WHO knows what is going on / virus possibly stolen from Winnipeg, Canada lab / leaked out of Wuhan lab.

The problem with the medical analysis that the article relies on is that it does not take account that Chinese researchers have access to a wide range of viruses in the wild that are not known to outsiders. Plausibly, the unusually potent protein spike that makes the COVID-19 virus so contagious might have been identified by Chinese researchers in another viral species and then secretly engineered into COVID-19. Such a scenario would negate the entire premise of the article.

“Fault” is a word that can cover a wide scope of actions.

If the virus did originate from the Level 4 lab, it was highly likely to have been accidental. However, in a communist nation all mistakes are viewed as criminal since the whole intent of the society is to be perfect. If you read the story of how the epidemic played out in Wuhan, the main reason it spread to the level it did is because local hospital and police directors did not want to cause panic and did not want any negative rumors to come to the attention of higher government officials. Over 200 top medical staff in the Central Hospital died simply because PPE was not allowed in first few days of the epidemic despite the lab reporting they were dealing with a SARS like pneumonia.

I think someone was dinking with it at the lab too. Too many unusual coincidences surrounding this situation. Having said that, the world was warned of the possibility of further problems stemming from SARS-CoV-like viruses specifically from the reservoir in horseshoe bats by Clinical Microbiology Reviews Oct 2007.
