Hate to say it, but I’m starting to wonder if Rush is ever coming back. He’s nearly a full week behind the day he was supposed to return.

I wish he would, too. That would be such a bonus! Yes, they are all doing their best, but Rush IS the best.

I’ve been wondering the same thing for a while. It became more real when I put that thought in to words yesterday when I mentioned it to my husband.

Does anyone here have an inside track to the status? I think somebody once mentioned getting info from Bo Snerdley.

Yes, that’s from today. Maybe he will call in. It is not the safest thing for him to be around other people right now even if he weren’t feeling poorly. I’ll be patient, and keep praying for him and his family.

Says he’s “fine”. Treatment is “good news” re a clinical trial he’s in.

He does sound weaker, but the will is strong in him to be with his audience.. Glad he’s explaining things that are happening.

Sounds like a real bad case of Edema (water retention in extremities) and needs a Lasix diuretic IV.

He doesn’t sound great. Him saying he’s quitting chemo that was working to try something else because of quality of life is sad. Hopefully he’ll be improved when we hear him next.

Definitely. It’s frustrating to have to wonder what’s going on.

I’m glad he’s talking about Kathryn more, i.e., “my lovely wife, Kathryn”. Normally, he doesn’t do a lot of that. I guess he appreciates her being there for him now, and it seems that she’s a strong woman.

Says he vowed “not to become a ‘cancer patient’” as he goes through that.

I get it. When I had breast cancer, I went to a couple of group things, and every person there had adopted that as their entire identity. I didn’t want to be that person. He doesn’t want to be that person.
