Belated thank you, MM. Todd Herman is pretty good, but... he’s no El Rushbo.
Just doing my part... heh.
I was getting ready to send that last caller a ouija board.
In with the ping.

ken again
I reckon this week is a write-off.
The prior statements and current questions: RL stated that a relatively new, relatively experimental type of treatment was being proposed. Early on he said he received 2 treatments per day and one of them was administered at 2 pm ie in the middle of the program with no apparent hindrance to the 3 pm hour.
He also stated that the first week he missed after the announcement would be to travel so he could undergo testing and/or treatment. He did return after that but as he said in his recorded message earlier this week (in a very weak voice) he’s having a bad reaction to the chemo - and I believe that’s the first time he used the term although a sensible person would assume it would be chemo. He certainly isn’t alone in having such a reaction and one imagines that the dosage/potency required to target and somehow play catch-up with a Stage 4 diagnosis is considerable indeed.
We don’t know - and aren’t necessarily entitled to know - how long the current treatment regimen will last. The conventional wisdom on chemo is that they nearly have to kill the patient in order to sufficiently weaken the cancer itself. There is often a ‘course’ of finite length and then the patient undergoes more tests, scans, etc. while he regains some strength and stamina with a high probability of having to do it all over again at least once.
Note that all of the above make no mention of the coronavirus. Cancer patients, especially those on chemo, usually have every system in their bodies weakened including the immune system. Add in his age and one would have to, regrettably, conclude that the doctors are on high alert about his vulnerability to coronavirus or even more common and established forms of cold and flu, personal and herd immunity notwithstanding.
In sum, even in the rare event he feels able to return to the microphone it may be possible that his doctors will forbid such action due to the virus threat.
Hello again...
Thank God, Ken is not yapping about covid 19.
Sounds like you’re as tired of hearing about it, as I am.
India? Click the broken links; the pics are all there. Don’t eat before you see these pics:

I enjoyed listening to Donald Trump Jr on the show today.
Thanks for the articles. But look at these videos of slums on Mumbai public right of ways......
What you see is being made right now in the LA and San Francisco tent squatter enclaves

Me too. He was GOOD, like his Dad.
In India, that’s been a way of life for hundreds, if not thousands, of years. Somehow, I don’t connect - because I don’t know what’s going on in SF & LA - to India, at all. SF & LA are new and temporary (maybe, I hope).
Are there any videos available of SF & LA for me to correlate the actions of India?
Re: Videos
I don’t know
I happened on the Mumbai videos by chance. Having lived in Manila and knowing of the slums there and the “new” slums created by recent squatters, I was flabbergasted by the excess in Mumbai
It is the new slums, the tent city, that have developed in LA. I expect no change because there is neither the fiscal means nor political will to change.

It’s a new thing, with only a few thousand mentally-ill people claiming to be “homeless”, when they should be institutionalized and cared for. But we all know that was declared un-pc back in the late-60s.
This is nowhere on the scale of Asia, but it’s growing every year and spreading, IMO, beyond control.
They need confinement to asylums and institutions. This is what happens when liberals, leftists, commies, fascists, socialists etc get control of the government, and we allow it to happen. SPJNK.
I question that all the tent dwellers are mentally ill.
Doesn’t really matter though because they have created an American version of squatter slums thet the california mayors are afraid to attack in a civilized manner.
Stats are that 20-45% are, and require hospitalization/institutionalization w/ appropriate meds. On their own, they stop meds; that is why institutionalization is necessary.

Same here... he was excellent! Wish Don Jr. would call in every day. :-)
Ken Matthews did a good job today. Overall, Rush's subs (Steyn, Matthews and Herman) are very good. But of course they are *nowhere near as good* as El Rushbo!
