Cuomo’s coronavirus TV briefings may have Biden, Sanders worried

Have Democrats found an alternative to Joe Biden and Bernie Sanders for the party’s 2020 presidential nomination?

Some seem to think so: The hashtag #PresidentCuomo -- referring to New York Gov. Andrew Cuomo -- was trending on social media Saturday as the party’s voters continued to mull who should take on President Trump in November.

Just a day earlier, the hashtag #WhereIsJoe was trending as some wondered why Biden's national profile seemed to shrink amid the crisis -- a situation Biden said he planned to address next week.

Cuomo has been appearing on television daily since the coronavirus crisis began – largely because his state leads the nation, with more than 12,000 confirmed cases of the virus, also known as COVID-19.

CNN is gushing over Cuomo's press conferences too.

But they are likely stuck with Joe. And now Joe is apparently going to start giving daily press briefings.

Then Again, DeBlasio made Cuomo look stupid in the last couple of days by beating him to the punch in calling for a lock down. Cuomo was rejecting the lockdown and then had to reverse and implement it.

1- Conservatives are not welcome in NY
2- America has never been great
3- Lost to ocasio-cortez for 25K Amazon jobs in queens
4- Watched state and local taxes rise to unprecedented levels, meanwhile there’s a $6 billion budget deficit

Andrew Cuomo is WAY too smart to run against Donald Trump, who is one of the most successful Presidents in our history, because all Cuomo has to do is wait until 2024, scoop up the Dem nomination, and then run against some non-incumbent Republican who couldn’t fill just one of Donald Trump’s shoes ... basically the same reason Donald Trump didn’t run against Obama’s re-election ...

Did you catch Joe’s last TV appearance? He’s staring blankly into the camera, mutters something like “Thanks” and then gets pulled off camera by Jill. These press briefings will likely be the end of his campaign.

And while many may be raving about Cuomo’s daily briefings, the fact is no one outside of the New York area is likely watching them—why should they?

I would not be so sure. Now that they have more than realistic chances of winning the elections, why risk with all the dirt on specifically Biden ... or Biden saying something immensely stupid at the crucial moment?

But Cuomo is a strong option for #2 in all cases.

.... but then ... when the number of deaths in New York reaches 10x the number for China ... this should take 2-3 weeks only ... will Cuomo still smell good ?
