The pressure only increased after Trump’s Friday briefing.

They are disappointed that the virus is not ruining his presidency. They did not count on his leadership in the matter increasing his popularity, so they want his appearances stopped.

I believe every single person at every single press event, from now going forward, will be taking some form of the drug(s) which has(have) apparently been shown to offer some ongoing protection, against the Coronavirus.
Including perhaps Trump, no way of knowing... Also, I presume, the entire rest of the Democrat, and Republican party establishments.
I would tend to believe, this is a good method for Trump to stay connected with all of us.
