Over the last few years, I've heard more and more casual acquaintances complain that they no longer have any idea of where to go to for reporting they can actually believe. These were not supporters of President Donald Trump nor even conservatives, but their frustration did stem in a large measure from the recent and rapid degeneration of ethics in the press, most notably evidenced by their treatment of the president. As many of us predicted, their histrionics and unprecedented bias is turning a lot of people off.
Now, we have something a bit more grave than a sham impeachment to contend with, and many of the same people want answers. In fact, they desperately need answers, because those could aid them in preserving their health and the health of those around them. Not only don't people want to contract the novel coronavirus themselves, they don't want to inadvertently infect their ailing grandmother or anyone else.

At times like this, I’m glad we have President Trump at the helm.
If this were Obama/Biden....they’d be working up some deal to ship $2-billion to the Ukraine for their Coronavirus situation.
I've been thinking that for days.
I have several liberal friends on Facebook, and they’ve continued to post non-stop negative stories about Trump. I began posting THIS this morning:
“America thanks you for your continued negativity during this time of national crisis. Please self-quarantine, as you are infected with TDS.”
Feel free to use it all you want. I noticed one of my liberal friends deleted their post after I posted this in response. Let’s remind liberals how anti-American they’re being.
LOL! Yup. Despite all this talk of ‘kumbya’ across party lines, some of Mrs rktman’s acquaintances in FB are also fully engaged with TDS.
Those people are probably friends of my wife.

Imagine...if you dare..a Biden, or Sanders or Clinton or any f’ing democrat in the Whitehouse now.
That is EXACTLY why I voted for him.
On the "generosity" front, younger Buddy called me from a supermarket about 30 miles away. Said they were well stocked and asked me what I needed. He was able to get almost everything and will keep the meat etc. in his fridge at his shop until I get over there this weekend.

Things might have been done early on which would have put us in better shape today. Mr. Trump obviously must learned some things in the past months, and would in retrospect have done some things a little differently. That’s life.But does Congress have any responsibility at all? The reality is that while President Trump was making the unprecedented decision to close our borders to China, Congress was “all impeachment, all the time.” And so was “our" "objective” journalism cartel. The House majority utterly tied up the Senate. With the result that Mr. Trump was isolated, his ability to lead - and to consult with Congress - impeded.
For what? Sheer partisanship - and one “Republican” Senate vote?

When the right thing to have done would have been to argue for the production of more ventilators on an emergency basis, Adam Schiff was tying up the whole Senate - and slandering the president of your country - instead.
