Coronavirus: ISS, In Italy There Are Only Two Deaths Ascertained So Far Due To Covid-19
Agenzia Nove ^ | 03/13/20

Rome, 13 Mar 19:12 - (Agenzia Nova) - There may be only two people who died from coronavirus in Italy, who did not present other pathologies. This is what emerges from the medical records examined so far by the Higher Institute of Health, according to what was reported by the President of the Institute, Silvio Brusaferro, during the press conference held today at the Civil Protection in Rome. "Positive deceased patients have an average of over 80 years - 80.3 to be exact - and are essentially predominantly male," said Brusaferro. "Women are 25.8 percent. The average age of the deceased is significantly higher than the other positive ones. The age groups over 70, with a peak between 80 and 89 years. The majority of these people are carriers of chronic diseases. Only two people were not presently carriers of diseases ", but even in these two cases, the examination of the files is not concluded and therefore, causes of death different from Covid-19 could emerge. The president of the ISS has specified that "little more than a hundred medical records" have so far come from hospitals throughout Italy.

These are the first minimum detailed data provided so far by the Civil Protection on the causes of death of coronavirus patients. At present, in fact, the authorities are unable to distinguish those who died from the virus, from those who, on the other hand, are communicated daily to the public, but who were mostly carriers of other serious diseases and who, therefore, would not have died from Covid-19. In response to a question from "Agenzia Nova", in fact, Brusaferro was unable to indicate the exact number of coronavirus deaths. However, the professor clarified that, according to the data analyzed, the great majority of the victims "had pathologies

The numbers here are very telling:
https://www.worldometers.info/coronavirus/coronavirus-age-sex-demographics/

Notice the “all cases” vs “Confirmed cases” columns. The confirmed cases column tells us that almost nobody has died of the Chinavirus. And, literally NOBODY without some sort of pre-existing condition has died of the virus.

I keep asking people on the internet if they personally know of someone that has the disease. So far, crickets.

This is shocking.

But what nation wants to lose billions in productivity and income, and needlessly tank their whole economy? Italy? What, exactly, is the motive for this economically ruinous charade?

My strategy has to be to stay alive until a vaccine is made.

But my guess is that strategy will fail.

This hasn’t even been going on all that long, and I already feel like going outside is like taking an dangerous walk with an invisible enemy. It’s really quite frightening.

People can live and recover from leukemia.. Coronavirus took that hope away and killed him.

Part of that is no doubt the Italian government trying to spin its way out of a political disaster. But its factually true.

I thought that there wasn't any immunity to Corona. Last week they were saying that you could get over a bout of this, walk out the door and catch it again.

I just figured that we are all goners.

So you’re saying what, exactly? Is cholera a big threat these days?

I am very happy to tell both of you that I have been practicing isolation for a good bit of time now, probably several days before Trump’s suggesting that we all enjoy our house for 15 days.

I got no problem doing that. I’m actually scared to leave. I did stock up, a good supply, but I can’t always stay sadly.

Might have to take Max the Dog to the vet here soon if I can’t get control of him licking one of his paw pads. So just things like this that were the basics of life a few days ago are now significant sources of anxiety for me.

Add to that what was said about the WHO tests showing false positives. It’s a mess.

If true, then almost no one will be dying from cancer or those other diseases, should everyone be infected.

Odd way to play with the stats.

China is going back to work.

Hong Kong only had about 100 cases and they are going back to work.

Meanwhile, we are shutting down and the Zombies are hoarding TP.

The headline is slightly incorrect. The article states 12 people.

The whole world’s economy has collapsed. It is suicide.

And to be clear, it’s too late to stop it. If it turned around right this minute, after it plays out it would be much worse than the credit crisis of 2008.

We’re not feeling it right this minute. We will. And it will be very bad.

I’m still working, but from home. I work for the power company as a contractor, but on IT projects. Most of those projects are not critical to the business. They are just incremental improvements to various processes. How I don’t see my contract ending in the next few weeks is beyond me. However, no hints from management yet that that will happen. I think it will.

Fortunately, I recently started collecting SS and was musing about quitting anyway. So I have that, which is nice. :)

And if my SS stops, we’ll be in a situation where that is the least of our problems.

I feel like we are the guys in the movie, still working at the TV station, giving people updates, as the massive meteor closes in on its last hours before it hits.

“... the most effective measures in a viral outbreak would involve protecting the vulnerable...”

I expect the internet and, possibly, even cell phones to fail in the next few weeks or as long as it takes before the government can’t do any more to force people to work.

I’ve said since day one that it is not the virus that I fear. It is our response to it that will kill us. And it is, as I type this.

“I keep asking people on the internet if they personally know of someone that has the disease. So far, crickets.”

All I can say to that is not yet, I think.

My friend asked me to come over and take care of her dogs for the next 4 days, which is something I do often for her, and I had to tell her no, because she told me she is sick. She also, somehow, has no idea at all what coronavirus even is. She thinks it’s a cold going around. Her job has her coming into to fairly close contact with people and other health professionals all day long.

So maybe I do know someone with it, it’s hard to say. I’ll go ahead and say I hope that I never know anyone who has it.

People can live and recover from leukemia. They can also live and recover from COVID-19. That’s the whole point of “comorbidity” statistics.

As it relates to this discussion, I would ask this question about the unfortunate victim in Spain: Which measure would have been more effective in protecting him ... isolating HIM in seclusion, or closing all the schools and businesses in his town and telling people to stay six feet apart?

This was on March 13th. I see the updated March 18th at 12 people. You have to use a translator to read it.

Your best bet is for as many people to get WuFlu as quickly as possible while isolating yourself. Once the US has gained herd immunity (north of 60%) you will be much safer.

That won't work. See Fauci on Ingraham. The main reason is that there is significant mortality among healthy people (much higher than flu). Second reason is that the vulnerable people will get infected because isolation is not feasible.
