Yeah, what’s up with that? I once saw Chris Matthews complain about it on PMSNBC. Rush calls it Democrat Party. Do you think they hate it because Rush says it? Do you think Rush says it because they hate it? What’s the difference anyway?
It would be like calling the Republican Party the "republic" party.
It has been the democrat party since Andy "Ol Crook" Jackson founded it. But a few years ago they decided they would rebrand as the "Democratic" party because then any one who was against them would be anti-democratic. It was an effort to demonize their opponents.
But they never actually changed the name.
So they are still the democrat party.
