Democratic is bad grammar and incorrect.

It would be like calling the Republican Party the "republic" party.

It has been the democrat party since Andy "Ol Crook" Jackson founded it. But a few years ago they decided they would rebrand as the "Democratic" party because then any one who was against them would be anti-democratic. It was an effort to demonize their opponents.

But they never actually changed the name.

So they are still the democrat party.

You are so right, I wish every newscaster had a buzzer and every time someone said democratic party he would sound the buzzer. I imagine it would sound like a fire drill.

A “Democrat” or “Democratic” party is antithetical to a Republic. It is oppressive and tyrannical by its very definition. Two wolves and a sheep deciding on what’s for dinner.
