Scarborough Praises Trump: 'Who Is That Man' at the Press Conference?
NewsBusters ^ | Mark Finkelstein

Posted on 03/17/2020 6:12:39 AM PDT by governsleastgovernsbest

Joe Scarborough praising President Trump? Was it one of those lip-synch spoofs? But no, in a sign of just how profoundly the coronavirus has altered virtually everything, Scarborough today did indeed offer clear, if cautious, praise for President Trump's performance at yesterday's press conference.

Scarborough said that the president was somber and serious and "did what a president is supposed to do."

Trump is the only politician that can be trusted. All these crazies trying to get their goodies past during this time when the media is trying to make everyone afraid is pathetic. Trump puts the country first, none of the others do.

Trump is doing a very excellent job. But I wasn’t impressed by his last news conference. He’s getting into the presidential habit of speaking in shortcuts and thinking the audience already knows the topic. Needs to spell it out. Pence is doing a better job communicating.

And I’m a huge Trump supporter. Just constructive criticism.

Pence is excellent at communicating in a focused manner staying on point and getting out the relevant facts. He is superb at dealing with disruptors and getting back on point. Trump should leave him to it.

Trump is better at other things, like taking down the pack of bi-coastal traitors who have created the world that made CV the disaster that it is. Trump is good at taking down disrputors and sending a clear message to other potential disruptors and we enjoy watching it.

But it takes him off message and that is kind of the issue here. There is enough to get out without focusing on inside the beltway AHs.

I rarely do this, but the other night I did flip over the MSNBC and the first sentence I caught out of his mouth was "....the government needs to do something..."

That is the problem.

Trump is the only politician that can be trusted.

***********

Even people who have a problem with his “personal style” do nonetheless respect him for his accomplishments, his focus on making good on his promises, and his unequivical approach.

I know people who hate his tweets yet are comfortable with Trump’s straightforward “what you see is what you get” personality. They know that, unlike most politicians, he’s not trying to deceive anyone.

In short there’s a trust factor that works for him. Its a very important attribute at a time like this.

Well he’s right in that the government needs to talk less and do more. The government is seldom proactive.

Consider that the Center for Disease Control does not seem to have been prepared to control disease. What is clear is that its just another giant bureaucracy.

Isaiah 11:6 - 9. NIV
6 The wolf will live with the lamb, the leopard will lie down with the goat, the calf and the lion and the yearling together; and a little child will lead them. 7 The cow will feed with the bear, their young will lie down together, and the lion will eat straw like the ox. 8 The infant will play near the cobra’s den, and the young child will put its hand into the viper’s nest. 9 They will neither harm nor destroy on all my holy mountain, for the earth will be filled with the knowledge of the LORD as the waters cover the sea.
Even so, come back soon, Lord Jesus. Amen.
