Tensions over the federal government’s response to the coronavirus spilled onto social media Monday as President Trump and Gov. Andrew Cuomo exchanged a series of searing tweets over New York’s request for assistance.

“Just had a very good tele-conference with Nation’s Governors. Went very well. Cuomo of New York has to ‘do more’, ” Trump tweeted.

Cuomo quickly fired back: “Happy to do your job, too. Just give me control of the Army Corps of Engineers and I’ll take it from there.”

Yes, all these democrat governors know what's best for us deplorables. Good thing they're intent upon making sure we are wholly dependent upon them day to day.

Ok, dipshit. Once the facilities are constructed, you can pull all the necessary equipment out of your ass.

Called Cuomo’s office today, and told him to do his own job instead of expecting the Federal Government to do it. He’s closed many psych centers, and prisons that were originally psych centers, that could be utilized as temporary hospitals. He’s got a vast quantity of inmate community service crews that can be used to renovate existing empty buildings all across the state. He’s wasted billions in State tax dollars on business developments that fell through. One $15 million building that the State built as part of a deal in the Syracuse area ended up being sold for a dollar when the company walked away from the deal without penalty. His so-called nano-tech development projects were created to line the pockets of his donors. Two of his top aides went to prison for their dirty work on these projects. He should have been right next to them.

Andrew Cuomo is full of sh!t. For the last 3+ years President Trump hasn’t been able to take any consequential action without facing legal challenges from multiple states ... and New York is involved in every one of those stupid lawsuits.

cuomo thinks all federal resources should be pre-positioned under his command. To hell with any other state where hot spots might actually occur.

He’s an expletive-deleted whose state is $6+ bil in the hole, and Fredo’s bro is desperately trying to figure out ways to use the WuFlu to scam US taxpayers into making NYS whole.

Have you seen our budget? There’s no money thanks to Albany’s profligacy.

Well described.

More proof that what we said vaguely about the future a few months ago is still up for grabs: With so much political division and widespread rancorous disputes, if a big crisis happened could we pull together and say “We are all Americans. We are in this working together.”

Still not happening.

Can’t get Dems to allow any victory for President Trump. Crashed economy? Why not? Praising Iranian terrorist general who got killed? Fine idea.

What next? College demonstrators to lie in front of semis on the highway trying to deliver medical supplies and vaccines
when they become available? “Too big a carbon footprint for trucks. See all that diesel smoke?”

This whole mess was brought on by the lame stream media. There was nothing like this during that Swine flu pandemic under 0bama; since Trump is president it’s his fault and everybody panic!

How many deaths and infections per capita? Colorado is in worse condition by that standard. I demand The federal government place all resources here. See how that works.

Cuomo wants the Feds to do it so that we, from other states, have to pay for it.

Cuomo doesn’t want to have to take responsibility for his decisions. Only wants to be able to blame the Feds when something doesn’t work.

He takes right after his old man. He was a piece of $hit too. Both destroyed the economy of the State.

There are a lot of programs and presidents responsible for the death of federalism. But I primarily blame Nixon. He instituted federal “revenue sharing” with the states. This gradually got states more and more dependent on federal programs, both for funding and for leadership.

States, especially the blue states, but all of them, really, are now simply helpless appendages on the federal teat. Prosecution Exhibit One is Louisiana and Ray Nagin’s Chocolate City in the face of Katrina. Completely helpless dependents.

Conservatives simply don’t understand that progressives think of state and big city government jobs as little more than welfare checks that require no work or responsibility in return. Governor Cuomo proves that beyond a reasonable doubt.
