President Donald Trump plans to declare a national emergency on Friday, the most significant move yet by the U.S. government to head off the coronavirus outbreak.
Trump's declaration would come as many public and private institutions have taken action — including canceling major events, temporarily banning large gatherings, closing schools and telling people to work from home — in an effort to slow the spread of the virus.

President Trump will declare a state of emergency at 3 p.m. and invoke Stafford Act to release up to $50b of federal aid, per source familiar with his thinking. He’ll “call on Congress to get this done.”
Good.He’s going to be given sh*t no matter what he does and this is the responsible thing to do.
The Federal Courts in the EDVA announced today that they are continuing all but the most serious cases.
My daughter was told to start working from home next week. I’m glad because even though she’s only 45 her asthma is worse than mine. Mine is seasonal triggered by allergies and lung sickness like colds, bronchitis, and hay fever. Hers is bad most of the time.

Nah. This is a technical step that allows for supplies to be moved and pre-positioned.
