Now that the number of new people infected with the coronavirus in China is slowing, the country's Communist Party is ratcheting up threats against the West, with a particularly nasty warning about access to life-saving drugs aimed at the United States.
In an article in Xinhua, the state-run media agency that's largely considered the mouthpiece of the party, Beijing bragged about its handling of COVID-19, a virus that originated in Wuhan and has spread quickly around the world, killing nearly 5,000 people and infecting thousands more. The article also claimed that China could impose pharmaceutical export controls which would plunge America into "the mighty sea of coronavirus."

The politicians who made themselves multi-millionaires by selling our country out to China, and that’s almost 90 percent of them in Washington D.C. today, and an equal or greater number who are ex-politicians riding the lobbying gravy train to more millions, should be hung from lamp posts in D.C.

I have been saying it for years. China can go into any US company over there and take it over too, anytime they feel like it. It's dangerous for the US.
What bothers me is the quality of the medications.
What you get now are the generics. Has anyone else noticed that it seems like some days the meds work better than other days?
What kind of safe guards are there out there on these meds?

They can do what's been reported, an EO directing all US Government purchasing of medicines to be of domestic origin. It's a power that clearly exists and creates a supply chain that could be used by anyone.
The Feds are dominant players there.
What EO and what does it do?
This highlights once again why we need to source drugs/critical medical supplies from domestic suppliers as a matter of national security. Time to enact that regulation.
A Congress that is jealous of its prerogatives and willing to instantly impeach, convict, and remove any Federal judge that dares to get in its way...then we would be getting somewhere.
