Former Vice President Joe Biden will hold “virtual” town hall and rally events, his campaign told reporters late Wednesday, in lieu of holding massive rallies in places like Florida and Illinois.
The campaign cited ongoing concerns about coronavirus, particularly in Illinois, which has at least 25 confirmed cases of the illness.
Biden had events scheduled in Chicago and Orlando but “his campaign said that after consulting with officials, the former vice president would not hold large-scale events in the states,” according to MSN. He also canceled two fundraisers in Chicago
The wave of fear over coronavirus may come as a benefit to the Biden campaign, which appears to be struggling with live events. The gaffe-prone Biden has been more gaffe-prone than usual of late and his campaign has scaled back his speeches and appearances, often limiting his remarks to less than ten minutes, likely to limit Biden’s ability to commit personal faux pas.
At 77 years old, Biden is well within the demographic most vulnerable to coronavirus and coronavirus-associated complications.
The Democratic National Committee announced earlier this week that the Democratic presidential debate, which will be held Sunday in Phoenix, Arizona, will not have a live studio audience and, instead, the candidates will answer questions from constituents over video chat.

The DNC puppeteers have taken control of the Biden campaign.
Already Biden is nothing but a mere figurehead doing what he is told to do.
The true leaders are a conglomerate of deep state autocrats who are bent on destroying America as we know it.
All they need to do is give Biden his anti-drool medication and roll him out for an occasional arm waving diatribe against President Trump.

This drives me totally crazy. I have a 45-minute drive home from work every afternoon when he's on. It's the only time I have to listen to his radio show. After the top and bottom of the hour news and commercials, he plays about 10 minutes of clips from various Dem pols, news media Dems and such without commentary or context. It's a total Dem campaign ad slamming Trump and Republicans.
I don't know what Hannity thinks his point is by doing that, but to me it seems like a sneaky way for Hannity to actually support Dems.

His handlers are happy to keep him away from his constituents and speaking at his rally’s, they now can edit him and no more voter confrontations

As POTUS trolled yesterday, nobody was going to Plugs’ “rallies” anyway.
