Wow. Those kids are going to be really bummed to find our they have to go to school an extra month into the summer.

Or is Inslee just going to give them a ass on the work?

Where do they get lunch when school is out otherwise? (Summer, holidays & so on)

Why April 24? Could be worse by April 25. That would give enough time for parents to think about home schooling their kids. A good time for POTUS to bring up vouchers.

Here on Whidbey Island. The county is now recommending telecommuting if possible. Guy in my Office just got the email from his kid’s school about Inslee’s order to close all schools in those 3 counties

If kids are out of school someone has to take care of the kids. If the virus isn’t affecting kids yet, then this could be counterproductive.

All graduation requirements are waived along with all mandatory state testing. No additional school make up time will be required.
