Also note that the rest of the eu citizens can freely enter the UK even now (and they can freely go anywhere within the eu)
Except the UK
.
As someone who lives in Poland, I believe that what President Trump is doing is the right approach, but it is a bit late - the virus is already in the USA.
Poland today (12th March) has 31 cases (out of a population 1/10 th that of the USA) and no deaths. The government has also acted late, but has shut down
1. All schools and colleges
2. all cinemas, theatres, operas, museums, night-clubs
3. recommended everyone who can work from home to work from home
The shutting down of flights may reduce the severity and it’s a good thing to do, even now
it shows that the UK has officially 456 cases and 8 deaths. Germany has 1966 and 3 deaths
You can use the graphic report here = https://cloudsonmars.com/en/koronawirus/
You are also correct - a British citizen could fly to Germany and back with no visa stamp and then fly to the USA
Or, like when it snows south of the mason-dixon line
The thing is - there are viruses (virii?) and bacteria lurking among farm animals and also wild animals in temperature climates - bats, birds etc.) that can also start in the USA or elsewhere.
There always have been

Hoping to get the payroll tax cut approved by both Republicans and Democrats, and please remember, very important for all countries & businesses to know that trade will in no way be affected by the 30-day restriction on travel from Europe. The restriction stops people not goods.
POTUS needs to add the UK to our travel ban.
Jet fuel is basically kerosene.
I think of it more as a consequence of turning Godlessness. When nations turn their back to God, maybe He folds his arms and say "Ye are on your own."
I pray that America experiences a revival of faith and re-consecrations this nation to Our Lord.
Concentrating on one point of entry frm Britain is easy
So far, only from. I fly to Germany on Saturday morning...should be interesting.
If I understand correctly, Europeans can travel to Ireland, as it is part of the EU, without any customs confirmation. Then, because of the border between Ireland and Northern Ireland, they can pass into the UK in the same manner. So the route is more circuitous, but anyone from Europe can still fly to the US via Ireland to UK movement.
But; isn’t the horse already outta the barn?
Dang!
It’ll be just MY luck not to be able to visit Utah this summer!
Then there is the NCAA MArch MAdness Mess!
The virus is an act of God and thus there is no liability for repayment
Acts of God provision..... you guys are screwed....
