Jay Inslee ordered a halt Wednesday to all gatherings of more than 250 people in King, Pierce and Snohomish counties, and ordered schools across the state to immediately begin contingency planning for potential closures in the next several days. ..... School closures are a bad idea. Many school children have to stay with Grandma while the parents work.

Washington should have done this weeks ago. They are way ahead of the rest of the country as far as cases.
A note for those unfamiliar with Jay Inslee: He’s a certified idiot.

Washington isn’t scaring me as much as these governors; it seems to me like they’re positioning themselves to end President Trump’s rallies and, collaterally, at least part of the first amendment. With those kinds of maneuvers, they have my attention.
Washington, seattle, showed the way.
Boycott Washington.
Lars Larson, conservative Oregon/Washington/national talk show host just said this about the only thing he has ever agreed on with Inslee. Said Oregon governor is derelict for not taking similar action.
Do they close schools, gatherings and meeting for colds or the flu?
Bathhouses effected the most.
This is a conspiracy to develop a whipped up panic that will ultimately overwhelm the administration.
But what about the homeless congregations in parking lots, downtown sidewalks, and under the Seattle freeways?
Schools and colleges closing might be a unique opportunity to deprogram some kids.
