Hey just give it time.

The red state governors will postpone the state tax as well so PDJT will not get a "one up" on them.

Most of their workers work just for tax season and then go on to their other jobs.

Great idea. Delay it until Nov. 3.

Then change it permanently to election day.

Are they paid on commission or is it hourly?
If it’s commission, I don’t think they’d be eligible for unemployment.

I don’t know what, if any, kind of status they have as employee. Maybe could be indy contractors, if not on the payroll.

It may not be an economic relief but many are really scared of this virus as it is very communicable.

Maybe a deadline relief is more for mental health.

So basically: We get to withhold money from the Dems for duration of the current crisis? And when their appetite for our money exceeds their Trump-bashing panic-mongering, then we have to send it in?

Not only not pay, the article subtitle says you don’t even have to file by April 15th. I would double check with an accountant since journalists get everything wrong.

" I've heard no penalties for not paying by April 15 either "

Well that will help my cash flow.

Will this also push off the 1st Quarter of 2020's Quarterly [so-called, it's 3-2-3-4 months each] payments?.

Federal return needs to be completed before
State return can be completed.
So if your state doesn’t extend, you still have to complete
your Fed return by April 15, although payment can be deferred.

Some States do NOT have an Income Tax.

Taxpayers in those States may get a better break.
