Trump calls emergency meeting with top US health officials at the White House Wednesday
“President Donald Trump has called top U.S. health officials to an emergency meeting at the White House Wednesday morning, cutting a congressional hearing on Capitol Hill short, said Rep. Carolyn Maloney, chairwoman of the House Oversight and Reform Committee.”
Meybe he’s gonna put the hammer down on all these petty political fiefdoms, and cast blame squarely on them for deliberately sabotaging the country.
Maybe someone has figured out what the term “exponential growth” means.

I agree with the poster here who said he should announce a “Marshall Plan” type operation to bring all drug manufacturing back to the US.

Why is he doing all this for the flu?

New cases in Michigan. More nursing homes affected in Washington state. Across the pond, members of parliament infected. Italy getting worse...

Let’s hope it’s not about boosting the economy, as we have his experts working on that.
I want to hear about Made in China drug shortages/med supply shortages. And, what our plan is, to bring the manufacturing of our vital Rx drugs back, going forward. Our drugs that, now, aren’t even being inspected.
I want to hear how the Dems are trying to unravel travel bans, that are imperative to controlling this virus outbreak.
It’s not the flu. It’s a new virus that humanity has never seen. In the elderly it kills through a vicious pneumonia and cytokine response in which the immune system overreacts and leads to organ failure. A vaccine is months away at best.
The fact that it’s basically spread over most of the country is troubling to say the least.
