(I-Vt.) defeated former Vice President Joe Biden in the North Dakota Democratic presidential primary on Tuesday, prevailing in a state he had also won in 2016.

With 100 percent of precincts reporting, Sanders received 53 percent of the vote, while Biden got just under 40 percent.

North Dakota awards 14 pledged delegates, tying Wyoming for hosting the smallest nominating race in the continental United States.

Because of this, the win isn't much more than a consolation prize for Sanders, who had an otherwise disappointing night at the polls.

With 100% Reporting in Missouri, @realDonaldTrump (299K) received over FOUR TIMES the number of votes President Obama (64K) received in 2012, and over DOUBLE the number of votes President Bush (117K) received in 2004.

The enthusiasm is with Trump!— Ronna McDaniel (@GOPChairwoman) March 11, 2020

Will there be enough votes or other hope left for Bernie and gang to raise a stink at the convention?

WOW, what a huge victory: three whole electoral votes.

Were the ND’s voting machines, or counting methods, different from the states that Biden won?

Bernie already said he wouldn’t fight at the convention and Biden should win if he has more delegates. Last night Tucker called Bernie a loser and not a serious candidate.

This is not a total surprise.

The formal name for North Dakota Democrats is:

North Dakota Democratic-NPL Party

NPL is short for Non Partisan League. NPL was a prairie populist group that completely infiltrated the North Dakota Republican Party back in the 1910’s thru 1930’s. They advocated state control of grain milling, banks, etc.

Though North Dakota is a strong Republican state, there is still a strong undercurrent of prairie populism that exists. I’m not surprised that sanders did well there.

Democrat, Joe Biden also lost to POTUS Donald J. Trump in the states of Mississippi and Idaho. And...believe it or not, in the state of Washington, both Democrats, Bernie Sanders & Joe Biden were beaten by “OTHERS”(342,247 votes)!!! LMAO!!!

I was born there and have many farmer relatives there.

Though the state is generally quite conservative the farmers always elected democrat Senators because they promised more subsidies and other free stuff.

With Sanders appointed President of North Dakota, and Bloomberg the Governor of American Samoa, the country’s in great shape!

This result is extremely depressing. North Dakota used to be a very conservative state. I’m pretty sure that PDJT will still win ND in the general, but it appears that some of the wonderful people of ND have been turned to communism.

WOW, what a huge victory: three whole electoral votes.

So? Its a small state.

You are completely incorrect. ND is 21st among the states for per capita millionaires.
The real numbers

Millionaire households: 19,248
Total households: 327,393
Concentration of millionaires: 5.88%
Median income for all households: $61,285
Median home value: $174,100

Take your fake news someplace else.

Not bad for a state with roughly 800,000 people and a Corona deficit.

It still is a conservative state and I have no doubt that PDJT will win this fall with overwhelming high numbers.

That said, every state has its public trough leaches, ignorant youth, disgruntled identity seekers, public school teachers, you know the base core of the Democrat party.
