Democratic frontrunner Joe Biden got into a heated exchange with a plant worker during a stop at a Detroit auto plant on Tuesday morning.
Walking through the crowd of hardhat donning employees while shaking hands and smiling for photos, Biden stopped abruptly to have a brief but tense and unpleasant encounter with one worker who wanted to discuss guns. The man questioned why Biden wanted to take his Second Amendment rights away which caused him to become immediately enraged as he began to shove his finger in the auto plant worker's face.

Within ten years they were calling for bans on all handguns. “Rifles will not be affected!”

In 1984, seeing they could get no where on a handgun ban, they made a grab for the rifles, and missed.
Gun owners should realize that every time they negotiate with the anti-gun crowd they are up against a stacked deck. If they ever get any type of a firearm ban, they will use that to build on to ban others, and you can bet they will return for the handguns, their original target.

Biden will sign laws to confiscate all firearms from all working class people, because that’s what his global billionaire owners want (slavery).
I just meant that if the government paid Colt et. al. to design and build a military grade weapon that the government can also put into the contract a clause that says Colt can't sell them to any other buyers without government permission. I don't see that this violates your right to keep and bear arms because you can still make your own, albeit, probably not as well as Colt.
And who owns the government? us.
Absolutely, per 2ndA citizens should be able to buy the same gear from any manufacture willing to, even surplus when the gov’t is done using it. “put into the contract a clause that says X can’t sell them to any other buyers without government permission” is anathema to our founding principles. (I MIGHT relent on things like NBC weapons, which we inherently can’t trust anyone with, and entrust to gov’t care only with great reluctance.)
Now, if Colt et al don’t want to sell to the general public, that’s their problem (missing out on an enormous market).
But as a taxpayer who is literally paying for that design & build of military grade weapons, I don’t want my representatives (or worse, nameless bureaucrats) saying the manufacturer can’t sell ‘em to me.
Then that would make you inconsistent.
