So, if this is “like the flu” or “no big deal - it’s all a conspiracy to get Trump”, why would a major European country quarantine 25+% of their population?
I think we are starting to see what all of us are truly up against.
As the old expression goes..”watch not what they say, but what they do”.
I just really, really hope Spring weather helps dampen this thing down.
It’s still nothing concrete.
A handful of guys sitting around in some office in Rome can easily be manipulated to do a quarantine like this.

If they are counting on beds being freed up at the same rate as they are for the flu, they are wrong.
Friend of mine was going to go to Italy in April to see her daughter in northern Italy (her S-I-L is in the Air Force) and told her to hold off until things settle down.
Come’on it’s just the flu and six continents conspiring against Donald Trump. Besides, it is only dangerous to old people.

The North is where most of the Chinese are, with Milan having the largest population.
Plan pending approval would restrict movement in and out of northern provinces including Milan and Parma.
We have a lot of elderly in this country that are vulnerable.
I hope they take this seriously.
I have a relative who laughed when I said I was thinking about canceling a cruise. A few weeks ago.
Today, she gets it.
Cruises are a nightmare.
