It's NOTHING people!! NOTHING NOTHING NOTHING!!!!!!! Trust me, I'm from the government.
I'm only here to buy out the entire supply of face masks...
Bring Out Your Dead
Post to me or FReep mail to be on/off the Bring Out Your Dead ping list.
The purpose of the Bring Out Your Dead ping list (formerly the Ebola ping list) is very early warning of emerging pandemics, as such it has a high false positive rate.
So far the false positive rate is 100%.
At some point we may well have a high mortality pandemic, and likely as not the Bring Out Your Dead threads will miss the beginning entirely.
*sigh* Such is life, and death...
If a quarantine saves just one child's life, it's worth it.

Take a good look at the types of people we can ignore if the SHTF.
Do we really want to line up with these jokers? And if the credit/debit card system goes down - they starve?

Idiot buying is good for the economy.
Me being unable to purchase toilet paper because of idiot buying is problematic.

Something is definitely happening.
I drove out this morning to get some prescriptions and stopped by Walmart to pick up a couple of things. Near the front were maybe a dozen or more boxes filled with Purel and stacked in the lane. None were open so they must be to replace them on the shelves.

Actually in these pix, they are going nuts for paper towels more than TP.
Which is funny because as a bulk buyer of those things, I go thru a large package of TP in about a month while PTs Ihave for 6 months.

I wanted to defy the statistics, so took in a Carnival cruise last week, and after 8 days no symptoms. But heck I am younger than 80, and won’t be 80 for another few weeks LOL.

If the coronavirus really is going around, lingering in one of those queues is probably the best way to get a case of it. Heck, stock up and get two cases of it!

You are right, there are more paper towels. I can understand those alittle more, I guess. People are wiping their hands, wiping stuff down, etc. with cleaners and soap and are able to pitch them. (heaven help the garbage collectors) Still why so many?
We ALWAYS use separate regular towels here for the two of us. Has kept us from getting each other’s illnesses. When visiting I just use my jeans.
