"...agreement that will give Virginians more time with their families..."

It's for the children!

In Richmond it will be 15 cents a gallon.

Dems always hurt the poor the most.

Nice of them to provide a shining example of what happens when Dems take over. And just in time for the presidential election!

Hopefully, in the coming elections, Virginians can repay these politicians by giving them more time to spend with their families.

We’re raising taxes on the people least able to pay it, and clapping about it. - virtually every single Dem press conference.

And you just know in the back of their mind, they’re cursing Trump, because this plan would have been 40 cents a gallon on $5 gas if Hillary had been in office and shut down US oil production and gotten us into that long war in Syria.

This is a historic agreement that will give Virginians more time with their families and less [time] stuck in traffic," Virginia House of Delegates speaker Eileen Filler-Corn (D.) said.

Idiot lives in an urban bubble. It's all about me. Never mind that 90% of the state is pretty much traffic free. But then again, that's just the excuse. The reason they are raising gas taxes is because they can.

Or maybe they could take up art, you know, make some paintings or something.

“Harrumph, harrumph, harrumph...”

“Hey — I didn’t get a harrumph outta that guy!”

What a bizarre excuse for raising taxes: make driving unaffordable, force families to stay home.

I hope VA citizens throw these Dem bums out next time they get a chance

If this crap with Virginia keeps going, we down in North Carolina are going to have to petition President Trump to build a wall...

Idiots.
I will have to work more to pay for their tax increase.
I do not work at home with my family.
That'll mean I'll spend LESS time with my family.
Idiots!

The picture epically displays the fatuous stare of the pro politician when they pile a load of male bovine byproduct and expect others to pay for it.

This statement is also a classic of the genre in the line of 'instant results' forecast!

"This is a historic agreement that will give Virginians more time with their families and less [time] stuck in traffic,"

10-20 years down the line, with ever increasing population means more taxation and adding a mileage charge to take care of those EVs, so which GENERATION of Virginians are you speaking of?

FYI: I recently experienced I-95 corridor in the DC area. It crawled with 6 lanes in each direction. How many lanes will be added with this added tax?

Hold on to those guns, Virginians.
You are really really going to need them.

How about those who need their cars and trucks for their businesses? Better to give you more money than sit in traffic? She is a really cupid stunt. Almost makes me ashamed to be part Jew. Can’t wait to get out and move to WV and SC.

They will have to raise the tax much higher if they want to catch up to California and Pennsylvania.

When the price of oil decreases and with it the price of gasoline, the Democrats normal use that decrease to increase fuel tax so the new price of gasoline is about the level of the pre-decrease gasoline price. Tricky Democrats. Never give a sucker a break......

No big deal. Here in Alabama, our REPUBLICAN controlled House and Senate DID raise our gas taxes by 10 cent per gallon. Claimed it was for streets, roads and bridges. EVERY stinking time they raise the gas tax, this is their argument for doing so, roads and bridges. One thing is wrong. Our roads are still a mess, our bridges are falling down. Hell, a country, one lane dirt road is in better shape than our so called paved streets. We SHOULD have the damned best roads and bridges in the damned nation with all these roads and bridges taxes we keep paying, but they are still a shambles. I am sick of that damned excuse. Ole Fob James, an ex-gov of Alabama, raised the tax twice by a nickle and every time it was roads and bridges. That argument by them is 35 years old.
