The daughter who has accused Woody Allen of molesting her decades ago is “in awe and so very grateful” to protesting staffers of the publisher set to put out the Oscar-winning director’s now canceled memoir.
Just over an hour after Hachette Book Group announced it had axed Allen’s April 7 set “Apropos of Nothing” book following a March 5 employee walkout, Dylan Farrow took to social media with a heartfelt reaction:

Let’s remember that this is a pervert who married his adopted daughter. Even people who are doubtful of Dylan herself have got to admit that obviously some sort of abuse happened to those kids.
I've never been a fan of Allen, but I do try to support fair play.

I don't want the kid abused, or the adult to get away with it.

Definitely not okay, but I think Andre Previn adopted her, not Allen.
I wouldn't be buying his book, but I don't know if preventing these books from ever being published is a good alternative.
I’m no fan either, and he has issues, but there was an actual investigation, at the time, into these allegations, and it didn’t find anything.

Not defending Allan but get your facts straight. She was adopted by Farrow and Andre Previn. Allan married his girlfriend’s adopted daughter.

I’m pretty much in agreement with you. I think Mia is explosive with rage at him. And in a woman, I am one, that is very dangerous.
Woody & Soon To have been married forever. He did not toy with her & then dump her. From all accounts she is very business savvy. He was not ever charged.....there was not enough evidence. So we throw someone away with a she said/he said accusation? I am not comfortable with that at all.

I suspect that.s sent her on a real rampage against Allen, along with not casting her in his pictures. There’s no wonderful people in this story, it’s Hollyweird people after all, but there’s no need to make up stuff to make them look even worse.

If Woody really REALLY wanted to release this book, he always has the option of publishing it himself. I’m sure money is no object of concern.
