WASHINGTON (AP) — Democrat Steve Bullock, the Montana governor who has insisted he won’t run for the Senate, is poised to do just that, according to two people familiar with his plans.

Bullock has long been a Democratic favorite and has been heavily wooed to take on Republican Sen. Steve Daines. Democrats are straining to win back the Senate and they see a Bullock matchup with Daines as key to that strategy. Daines is increasingly allied with President Donald Trump and got a shoutout from the president Wednesday.

Bullock, who made an unsuccessful run in the crowded Democratic presidential primary, has until next Monday’s filing deadline to formally announce his bid.

A vote for a Democrat, any Democrat for any office, is a vote to impose a Stalinist dictatorship on this country and send yourself to the Gulags.

Not a chance in hell Bullock wins. Trump won MT by 20.5 percentage points.

I believe old Chuck Schumer was in Montana recently to talk to Bollocks.

I’ll bet they were talking about threatening Supreme Court Justices.

The porcine Senator Jon Tester won reelection in 2018. Sad. I sent a $100. to Matt Rosendale but he lost.

Were that true he would not be Governor.

Bullock ran the Montana state budget into the dirt. He was handing out Medicaid for votes.

He wanted more money to buy more votes.

So, he decided to sell state bonds.

The non-partisan Legislative Audit Office was required to review the bond offer.

They told Bullock that the bonds needed a notice with them.

The bond money might have to be used to pay back the federal government for the Medicaid Bullock was handing out for votes.

Steve got caught, and he squealed like a stuck pig.

No more recent article posted here but he is running.

A poll out recently has it tied. Democrats are VERY excited. Andrew Gillum looking at White men naked exicited.

I don’t think he can win, getting crossover running for reelection as Governor was one thing (he won in 2016 even as Trump did) but Senate is another matter. I don’t think any rat Senate nominee can run 15-25 points ahead of Biden against a Republican incumbent.

Some bad news though, the Libertarian candidate dropped out so it looked like they wouldn’t have anyone. But a former “GOP” State Chair (bitch, must be Paulbot scum) jumped in as a Libertarian so they will have a credible nominee siphoning votes.

We need to be on guard, Daines should look to avoid any errors.

Tester won as an incumbent, in a rat year (a midterm, no Trump), and our candidate was weak. I think a stronger candidate would have beaten Tester.

It’s not impossible Bullocks could win but I’m not messing my pants.

Though it was also a rat hold, 2012 is perhaps a better comparison than 2018, then freshman Tester won a second term, over a Republican who ran a really bad race, by 48.6 to 44.9 with a huge 6.5 for the Losertarian.

Obama got 41.7, so Tester ran 7 points ahead of him, and the Republican 10 points behind Romney. Can Bullock do better that against a stronger Republican?

The last incumbent Republican Senator to “lose” in a “red” state in POTUS year was Ted Stevens in the rat friendly year of 2008, beset by a BS “scandal”.
