We will see.
It has started to slow down.
At least for now.
I'll be in my seventies in a few decades.
This is not good.
In your 70s
It hits you
Not you hitting it
Fear not. Take your Vitamin D3.
Seventies are the new 50’s

41/6088 is not 0.6. It is 0.00673.
And when I’m dead and when I’m gone there’ll be one more child to carry on ,carry on.
I posted the below on an older thread - probably asked the wrong person:

Speaking of informative, I think two big questions are: What is South Korea doing to slow the spread of COVID-19, and (sort of a double question) what are the economic impacts of those actions and can they be sustained?
Do we have any South Korea savvy FReepers who might be able to answer with some solid information or background (not just ill-informed speculation?) Or, is it too early to tell, on that 2nd question?
(10-15 years ago I would have had some connections, but, alas, no more.)
41/6088 is 0.673 percent.
That drops the mortality rate below 1%.
As expected most people who get this recover. Death rates till now have been very high because the other side of that equation was an unknown.
.6 percent = .006
6 tenths of a percent.
Less than 1 %
Well if the mortality rate is .6 overall, but EIGHT TIMES that for those that are older, I wonder what the rate is for the young and middle aged.
Maybe .3?
That’s still a lot of people if a lot of people get it.
But imagine the fear from the Plague and other illnesses where 20 to 40 percent die!?!?!
What terror that must strike in a people.
I would be afraid of even 10 percent.
High than that and the lotto begins to get a little too winnable
They are also testing several promising medicines and a blood transfusion methods that will drop the mortality rate even lower.
Israel has a vaccine almost complete and is in human testing. It is based off an already approved vaccine that they re-sequenced. The effectiveness of the new vaccine has been proven in pre-clinical veterinary trials. So, the delay to launch is not going to be two years. There actually a lot of news on the vaccine front outside of Israel.
Also, with summer coming the cases will drop significantly.
Amazing how the countries with freedom always produce the cures and treatments.
Yet bernie and his children want communism so badly.
Spoiled punks.
